Open source is a type of licensing agreement that allows users to freely modify a work. It promotes a free exchange of ideas within a community to drive creative, scientific and technological advancement. We see open-source as a true magic which can accurately shape the future.
Although, it’s most commonly used in the software industry, professionals utilize open-source licenses in many industries such as biotech, electronics, fashion, robotics and teaching to name a few.
But the point about open-source is that if you are a newbie you may find it a little confusing to explore and find good resources, getting use to it and contributing to have a stake on this revolutionary movement.
On the other hand, if you’re intermediate or expert at contributing open-source projects and you have useful repositories, you probably know that educating people on what you’ve made and getting their feedbacks and finding more contributors and clients is not easy.
As an open-source fan, HackaIran decided to develop a platform, which can grows open-source community by teaching contributors and newbies, by contributors.
Hackademy is a free open-source academy which prepare best conditions for open-source developers to teach each other about what they made, how to use them, and how to contribute them.
